New patients please note: My approach is gentle, firm and engaging. If you are looking for an effective, restorative treatment and deeply-relaxing experience, please book yourself in. To address a specific concern it’s recommended to also book 2-3 follow-up appointments within 1-3 weeks apart to ensure you get your preferred appointment times.

Cancellation policy update - 48 hours notice is required or a cancellation fee may be invoiced to your account. No shows will automatically be invoiced for the full amount. When unwell your appointment can be rescheduled and late cancellation will not be invoiced.

Karen began practicing manual therapy in 1999 with Zen Shiatsu, a Japanese form of bodywork, which combined mindful meditative movement/compassion-in-action, meridian theory with eastern healing principles and philosophies. She expanded her studies into the west with Remedial Massage Therapy and has practiced since 2016 as a massage therapist registered with her professions governing body the College of Massage Therapists of BC.

She runs a general practice and is compassionate, down-to-earth and holistic minded. Her approach is gentle, firm and engaging. Treatments support a healing response in your nervous system to optimize function throughout the body. The focus is to create ease and balance within your body to help you feel lighter and move better.

Karen empowers people to be in their bodies, aware and present, and enjoys helping people experience how manual therapy can improve their quality of life. To best help her patients she mainly practices with therapeutic massage, biodynamic fascial integration, craniosacral therapy, craniofascial work and visceral manipulation.
